ENViSIONFEST
Bushnell Park
Hartford, CT

Envisionfest Hartford was a citywide celebration that took place on September 29, 2012 in Hartford, Connecticut. Providing free entertainment on multiple stages and scores of activities along an area that ran from the State Capitol, through Bushnell Park, onto downtown streets and culminating at the Connecticut Riverfront, the festival was developed to highlight iQuilt, an urban design plan that will create a system of walking paths and other design elements developed to unite the city’s cultural and historic sites.

Prior to the festival itself, adults and children in locations throughout Hartford including The Phoenix Insurance Company, The Asylum Hill Boys and Girls Club, The Old State House and Bushnell Park, participated in making pieces for The Wave, which was then installed in the area of Bushnell Park designated as the future location of a new body of water.
